Robert C. Skidmore, President
Rob Skidmore has been handling escrow closing and title work
with Medina County Title Agency since the early 1990s. In 1997,
Rob saw the need to start a company that is dedicated to
facilitating 1031 exchanges and formed Transfer Exchange, Inc.
with his brother Lee Skidmore. Since that time, Transfer
Exchange has doubled its business every year!
Rob has extensive background in business administration and is a
graduate of Mt. Vernon Nazarene College with a degree in
Business Administration, and he holds a master's degree in
business administration of Ashland University. Rob is a graduate
of the University of Akron School of Law. Rob is also active in
his local community, where he is a member of the Kiwanis Club of
Medina, Ohio, and he attends the Medina Nazarene Church where he
serves on the local church board as corporate secretary.
When he's not at work or school, Rob enjoys spending time with
his wife Claudia and their children Zachary and Zoe. Other
interests: Wave Running, golf, racquetball, and real estate.
T. Skidmore, Vice President
Lee Skidmore currently serves as Vice President of Transfer
Exchange, Inc, while serving as President of Medina County Title
Agency. Since beginning with Medina County Title Agency in 1981,
he has worked in all areas of the title field from examining
titles to issuing legal opinions. Lee Skidmore is also a
practicing attorney with the firm Skidmore & Hall a small town
law practice working in several areas of law including real
Lee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene
College in 1981. Following that, he graduated from the
University of Akron School of Law in 1985. He has been a member
of the Medina County Bar Association and Ohio Bar Association
since that time.
Lee has been a life long resident of Medina. He is married and
has 3 children. Having played four years of college tennis he
now stays in shape by playing, basketball, softball,
racquetball, and golf.
